Rediscovering What Makes You Come Alive
Spiritual life mentors guide and accompany people on their spiritual journeys. They listen as people share their stories, recommending resources and practices to help people grow deeper and stronger.
I completed my formational training as a spiritual director in 2005, and was also trained as a spiritual mentor/supervisor. As a spiritual life mentor, my most important tools are listening and a sense of humor.
Received as a lay oblate at a Benedictine hermitage and monastery in Big Sur, I also help introduce people to Benedictine life and contemplative practices, as well as facilitating retreats, reflection days, and spiritual direction groups.
Having spent time in many Christian denominations, I have explored a wide variety of spiritual places on my journey. From a theologically conservative church background, my faith has developed in a much more contemplative direction. I am a member of an Episcopal church.
The best way to get started is to talk with me. I connect with people in person as well as via Skype and FaceTime. Most people find it best to talk regularly, each month or every few weeks.
